About the event

All AGES!

What is Storyboarding?

Glad you asked!

It’s an illustrated sequence of scenes coming together to tell a story; much like a comic book. Storyboarding provides a detailed guideline for film, animation and even video games. It helps directors, cast and crew with visual angles, perspective and balance for the project.

It has been around for centuries from the caveman to the ancient Pharaohs drawing and engraving pictures of their heroic adventures. Today however, the storyboarding process as we know it, started at the Walt Disney Studio in early 1930’s with animation.

Students will learn simple dynamics of storyboarding through comic/manga style Art. They will BE using their creativity to bring to life heroes, villains in a comic book format!

Upon completion of the workshop, students will have a professional start to their first steps towards becoming a super rad ComicB ook/Manga Artist!
